SUN VALLEY — The calli ope music of a showboat greeted Cub Scouts and their parents at the monthly meet ing of Sun Valley Cub Scout Pack 60, which was held at Glenwood Elementary School. Each den presented a skit to carry out the theme of the month. The boys came on in six acts as “The Players,” “The Monkees,” “The Magi cians,” “Barber Shop Quar tet,” “Gandy Dancers,” and “Peanuts Characters.” Submaster Dan Holliday anounced that because of parent willingness to partici pate, the pack was able to form one new den and an ad ditional Webelos Den, making six dens and two Webelos dens. New adult leaders intro duced were: Virginia Barton, ceremonies chairman; Patri cia Cress, assistant den moth er, Den 5; Rebecca Miller, den mother, Den 6; Marvis Hansen, assistant den mother, Den 6; Joanne Lindsay, oatings ‘chairman and coordi nator of needy family project; O. D. Miller, leader, Webelos Den 2; Harold Buchta, assis tantt Webelos leader of Den 2; Charles Fein, treasurer; and Robert Hansen, dads’ club representative. Graduation ceremonies were held for Gary Koch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Koch t o £ 40502 Lanark St., Sun Val ley. Gary was welcomed into Scout Troop 60 by Scoutmas ter. Glen Pierson, Charles Murray, David Fein, Larry Miller, George Miller, Donald Cress, Darrell Lindsay, Bruce Barton Jr., and Curt Hansen were wel comed into the pack ,as Bob cats. Activity awards were presented to the following deys: Den 2 — Mark Walz, Recruiter Badge, assistant denner bar; Timmy Sprague, denner bar; Den 4 — Robert Moody, Jamie Hooper and An Ritchie, one-year service 2in and perfect attendance fin. Ken Ritchie also received 3 Silver Arrow; Den 5 — Ker mit Broman, Silver Arrow; Sol Koch, Silver Arrow; Elvin Estes, three Silver Arrows. Closing ceremonies for the meeting were conducted by Den 5.
