Fisher Foods will open its most modern supermarket on Thursday, Nov. 29 at 1350 Addi son Road, just south of Superior Avenue. The store will cover almost 18,000 square feet and be served by six cash registers. There are four entrances to the ample parking lot, three from Addison Road and one opening into Gid dings Road. Space for 150 cars is provided. Joseph Dulik, a 28-year veter an with Fisher’s who has man aged stores for over twenty years, will be grocery manager. He comes from a similar assign ment at Fisher’s Eastgate stores Raymond Markowitz, current ly meat manager at the com pany’s 105th and St. Clair store will hold the same position at Addison Road. Ira Ely will be assistant gro cery manager, Gerald Harris, produce manager and Amelia Fritz, head cashier. The old Fisher stores at 70th and Superior and at 1795 E« 55th will be closed” after business on Saturday, Novem ber 24 with all personnel trans ferred to the new store or other supermarkets in the area.
