Janies A. IveyJames A. (Jim) Ivey, 56, of 1408 Hardin Road, died suddenly at his home about 10:30 p.m. Thursday.He was a plumbing contractor and a veteran of World War II.The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Biggs Funeral Chapel by the Rev. John Haas and the Rev. Carson W. Lewis. Burial will be in Gardens of Faith Cemetery.Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Alma Norris Ivey; a son, Ivan Joe Ivey, a student at UNC, Chapel Hill; and five sisters, Mrs. Lottie Mays and Mrs. Lonnie Coleman, both of Lumberton, Mrs. Louise Britt of Randleman, Mrs. FrancesAvery of Smithport, La., and Mrs. Doris Stubbs of Florence, S.C.
