HE LIBLI1riNGBUCKLIN TEAM TOOK LONG END OF SCORE FRLTHEY WERE GREAT IN SIZE, HARD HITTERS AND FOOT-BALL PLAYERS RIGHT.Liberal fought gamely against odds on the home gridiron Friday and while the Liberal ladB gave a good account of themselves, were defeated 24 to 0 by the team from Bucklin High School.Bucklin has the largest, fastest, hardest-hitting aggregation Liberal has tackled this season, and not only are they good in natural qualification* but they know football and prove it on the field all the Full of pep and school spirit they ntr-r er stop until they are forced and they were just simply too much for the Liberal team.Both teams played clean and square, yet so hard that it looked like a battle at times, but on neither side were there any hard feelings.The Liberal boys need make no apologies for their defeat at the hands of the Bucklin team. While it is true that Coach Stickler's bunch were somewhat the worse for the Garden City game, they did not show it, and made an heroic effort to hold the hard smashes of the Bucklin team.Everyone was satisfied. Local fans are stronger for the team than ever and all believe that the hardest battle of the season is over.
