Dr, Al. A, Mills and QuakerRemedies.Dr. Al. A. Mills, manager, of the Quaker Medicine Co., of Cincinnati, has been in the city the past week selling his remedies. He has a covered platform erected on the square and gives morning and evening entertainments. The features of his entertainments are are a very fine phonograph and a negro man who as ventrfioquest is unsurpassed. His name is Henry Richardson, and.his native home is at Rome, this state. He has been with Dr. Mills nearly twenty years, Henry is also a vocalist and banjoist, and the entertainments conducted by him attract large crowds of darkies and many whitepeople. Dr. Mills has sold much ofhis medicine since coming here, and expects to remain a month. His remedies are celebrated for their curative properties, and Dr. Mills makes very liberal and reasonable propositions in his guarantees. He is a pleasant gentleman, and conducts his entertainments and his business on a high plane
