A. chi?d McCardy, of Lynn, Huntley got away at two mem o’clock and Monger at fly© o’clock. The roads whejwere somewhat sticky, owing to recent rainsand frosts. Huntley finished a few seconds ebefore two o’clock this afternoon, after hay- atfcaiing tnada 257 miles and broken the record by carelt;two miles. While Huntley was performing f his remarkable feat Monger was speedingalong, and his work was even more remark-able than Huntley’s Daring the morning agsoc hoars he wheeled over 186 5-62 mties, and when tc-he started out at eighteen minutes to eleven o’clock ho felt so well that be determined not to leave bis machine until the time set for the Hefinish, five o’clock.
