FATAL ACCIDENT.Ur. Junes Hamer, Jr., on Thursday morning went out on his farm, which lies twelve miles north of the city, to shoot some game, end in the act of climbiog a fence slipped and discharged one barrel of his gun, the whole load of shot and powder striking him in the face and entering his month. His father and wife were soon at his side, and carried him home in the greatest agony, in which state he lived until. 9 o'clock In the evening, when he died. He leaves a wife and one child. Mr. Hamer was a yonng man and a Christian—a member of the Methodist church. His funeral discourse was delivered at Mt. Pleasant Church yesterday at 2 p- m. to a large concourse of weeping friends by Rev. J. W. Webb, of this dty.
