Only Four White Men Are Called Into Military Service During This Month. Eighteen more Taylor county young men return home after re ceiving discharges from various branches of the service. These men include: arses white Men Charles Fickling (Navy) John W. Christopher Woodroe W. Cofield TD), Earl Hightower Albert Lee Edmonson James C. Hayes Clifford W. Spillers Dillard Spillers Rob. Felton King (Navy). Wilburn H. Hartman (Navy) J. G. Parks Lester Isham Beatty Frank J. McDaniel Colored Men Lillie Harmon Jr. James Towns Jimmie Duggar Tallie Gray Joseph W. Blackshire Mr. H. K. Sealy, clerk of the lo cal draft board, stated that only for white men have been called from this county during the month of November. ‘Those filling this call and leav ing for Ft. McPherson Tuesday of this week for induction included: Marshall Hartman Weaver Layfield Norman Taylor Jr. Wanza S. Wisham Next Wednesday five local white men will be sent to Ft. Mc Pherson for pre-induction physi cal examinations. Those selected to fill this call are: John B. Suddeth Walter H. Pierce Troy H. Neisler William Q. Childree Willie Carl Ranow
