Teststerday morning twelve of the latest pattern ^ Crescent wheels were rece'ved and twenty- c three more are coming thic morning. All 8day numbers of wheel enthusiasts were in dthe store looking over the graceful wheels, oand all of them pronounced the '99 Cres- jcent a beautiful as well as a substantial wheel.The Western Wheel Works, which manufactures the Crescent, is by far the largest bicycle manufactory in the world and turns out one of the most widely known wheels In the world. This company has started on Innovation in the bicycle manufacture this year. In that they muke only six models In their whole establishment. By concentrating all of their time and energy on these models, they have succeeded In turning out a wheel superior to any on the market, and at a lower price. It Is oustomary for most manufacturers to turn out dozens and dozens of models each year, all of which cost a great deal of money. All of these wheels must of necessity be Inferior to a wheel where only a few models were manufactured, and the price must also be greater.The six Crescent models are the two chalnless wheels for ladles and gentlemen.160 each. The two chain models at 135, and the two juvenile models at 125 each. The Crescent Is the first chalnless wheel on the market to be sold at $60, and this after it has been proved a perfect success during the past two years.
