8A very good crowd went to see the “dis embodied spirits (?) ’ at Major Hall Thursday night, and they saw ’em—in their minds. These frauds did nothing morebehind the folds of the dark-room curtainthan has often been done in the glare of gas!light before thousands of people. “.Spirit| power in the light means sleight-of-handperformances in the dark.
