Former Police Chief, 77, Dies At Clintonville(XINTO.NVIU.K - l.en Man-«er. 75 S. Clinton Avc., who had med as this city's police chief for 10 \ears, cited at 2:15 p.m. Saiurdav after a brief illness lie was 77-vears-old.Manser was a 31-vear veteranVof the Clintonville Police Department and was chief from 1950 until his retirement from the force in 1960.Among his survivors are his (widow, four children, 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.Manser was a member of ,St. Martin Lutheran Church and ‘Pilleson-Strehlow-Klitz Post No, 63 of the American Legion.Funeral arrangements are ■pending at the Eberhardt Hoh Funeral Home.
