Funeral Rites Held For Elmer S. Carr, 64Elmer S. Carr. 64, Merriweather, died Sunday at 3:45 a. m. at Divine Infant Hospital, where he had been a patient since May 22.He was born Feb. 24. 1904 in Wakefield, attended Wakefield schools and on June 8. 1929 was married here to Flora Lepisto. She preoded him in death. In 1937 he married Mildred Raymond at Angola. Ind., and they lived in Detroit where he was employed as tool setter for Chevrolet Motors for 40 years. They returned to this area after he retired and resided at Merriweather.Mr. Carr was a member of First Lutheran Church of Wakefieki.Surviving, besides his wife, are on daughter, Mrs. William Randall of Imperial Beach, Calif.; three grandchildren; two brothers. Ernest of Wakefield and Henry of Merriweather and one sister, Mrs. Isaac Saari of Wakefieki. Three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p. m. at First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Wayne Ku-usisto officiating. Burial was at Lakesde Cemetery- The remains were taken to the church at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
