Gerald Remek Rite* Held In Dee MoinesGerald Remele was born at Bagley January 23, 1901, and passed away in Des Moines November 16, 1968.Funeral services were held Monday, November 18, at the Dunn Funeral Home in Des Moines with interment at the Rest Haven cemetery in West Des Moines.Gerald left Bagley and went to Des Moines to attend Drake University at the age of 18. He had lived in Des Moines since that time. He operated a garage at 42nd and Crocker for 38 years.■He is survived by his wife, Lila; a daughter, Shirley (Mrs Bruce Stoll) of Cedar Falls; two granddaughters; two sisters, Mrs John Grassmeier of Bagley and Mrs Marvin Peckumn of Jamaica; and three brothers, Dewey, Donald and Raymond, all of Bagley. He was preceded in death by his brother, Guy, and his parents.Attending the funeral from this area were his brothers and sisters, John' Grassmeier, Mrs Raymond Remele, Mrs Don Remele, Marvin Peckumn, Mr and Mrs Kenneth Grassmeier, Mrs Everett Gilliland, Orville Evel-sizer, Mr and Mrs Bill Raymond and nieces and nephews from Perry..i
