Thurs day night, a permanent committee was formed A. G. Edwards, who was serving as temporary chair man, was named chairman; W. P Wallace was made vice general chairman; J. C. Netts, secretary, and Marvin Filis, treasurer. The committee plans to lease the property for 99 years at $1 per year. The property, consisting of about 6 acres, is located between the pig-pen croming and the Southern Pacific bridge over San Felipe creek. The G. Bedell Moore interests recently deeded the prop erty to the city, with the provision that it be maintained as a park. ‘The committee plans to build a swimming pool.
