DEATH OF OLD RESIDENTJosua Coshun Passes Away at His House in Huron.Joshua Coshun died at his home in Huron Wednesday morning at the advanced age of 83 years. The deceased was bom at North Chili, N. Y., on December 10, 1824, and was married on the 19th day of October 1859 to Miss Emma Kingsley, of Rockford, 111. Joshua Coshun was a pionerr in the settlement of Illinois and also shared in the pioneer life of Siouth Dabota having settled on a farm near Artesian in Sanborn county in the spring of 1883 where the family resided mi til 1889 when they removed to Huron. Mr. Coshun is survived by his wife and three sons, Ralph H. of Fargo, N. D., Hiram of Rudley, N. D., and Edward K. of Huron, South Dakota.The deceased was a very unassuming gentleman of [refinement and ^with strong convictions on all questions. We was a kind husband and a loving father and notwithstanding he has lived for beyond the allotted time of man, his death comes as a severe blowT to his wife and sons.The funeral services will be held at the house Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock.
