obituary.Mrs. Julia A. Ruoker, wife of Alvin Ruoker, died last Sunday at the homo three miles north of Moul-eon. She was ill but a short time and a paralytic stroke ended her career on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 16th, 1602.Mrs. Ruoker was a Chastain girland was born in Indiana, coming to Iowa in 1806. She* was:the mother of two children. Otie died some six years ago when the family lived in Moulton. The living child is Mrs. Francis Montgomery who is very sick and could not attend the funeral.Deceased waB a member of the Christian faith at Orleans, and the funeral services were held in Moulton on Wednesday, being conducted by Elder Newton, of New Town, Mo. The attendance at the church was large, a silent testimony of the esteem in which Mrs. Rucker was held. She was a woman of culture and known for her kindness and Christion graces. At the grave at Oakland, the floral tributes were numerous, and as the heavy casket . ’ was lowered to its final resting place, midstthesobB of a bereaved husband and other relatives—there was a general thought that a good aud noble woman had been called home.
