Services at Dows for Robert Bridges, 39DOWS — Services for Robert L, Bridges, 39, were held here Friday from the United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gordon Vickery officiating. Burial was in Morgan Township Cemetery and Willim Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Bridges died Wednesday in a farm accident.Born Feb. 5, 1939, at Hampton, Robert L. Bridges was the son of Clair and Alice Ingebritson Bridges. Following graduation from Dows High School in 1957, Mr. Bridges served in the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1962. He and Paulette Leach were married here June 2, 1963. Mr. Bridges was a member of the United Methodist Church, had served as its youth director and a trustee and had also been a 4-H leader.Survivors include his wife; mother; a daughter, Michelle; a son Michael; a brother, Harold of Jacksonville, Fla.; and two sisters, Charlene Albers of Dundas, Minn., and JaniceOlson of Novato, Calif. Mr. Bridges was preceded in death by his father.
