**********U.V, (Red) Wallace says another way to predict the kind of winter we are in for, is bywatching the horned toad.He says he has watched them for many years,and this year they didn't hole up u n t i 1 lat e in October. He takes this to mean that the winter this year will not be too severe. He says when we are in for a bad winter, the horned toads goin the ground in September.Red is one of a few persons I know, who saw, or will admit they saw, Haley's Comet when it came over this continent in 1910. He says he hopes to be around when the comet 1 etui ns,which is supposed to be every 75 years— giveor take a year, I told him if he was here, I dwrite it up in the paper, and I promptly nicknamed him Comet.”**********
