Transaction was completed yesterday for purchase of a 662-acre farm by the Anthony Development company, Inc., of Oma, Neb., from Mr. and Mrs. John L. Benschoter, route 4 The farm is located seven miles southwest of Carthage. Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Anthony lived in Neosho for a short time some years ago and liked south west Missouri. Having decided to discontinue the construction business they have been operat ing the last 15 years, they plan to operate this livestock farm. The Anthonys and their four children will move to the newly acquired property as soon as they can complete their busi ness in Omaha. Mr. and Mrs. Benschoter moved to their present home in Morgan Heights in January, 1962, and Mr. Benschoter had continued to operate the farm.
