Guests were received in the gardens of the Gerald Gul atte home on Emerald Ave, San Leandro, following the wedding of Patricia Theresa Duarte and Thymas Henry Gularte. Patricia is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Duarte of 143rd Ave, San Leandro, and a graduate of the High land School of Nursing. The benedict is a St. Mary's Col lege graduate. Patricia was escorted to the altar by her father, for the 10:30 a.m. nuphal mass at St. Leander’s Catholic Church. She wore a gown of white net and lace over taffeta, the bodice embellished with se quins and pearls. A lace crown held her illusion veil, and ‘‘something borrowed,” was the prayerbook belong ing to the benedict’s mother. Bridesmaids were dressed in white, to follow the yester year tradition of all-white weddings, and they also car ried prayerbooks topped with flowers. Mrs. LaVerne Roark, sister of the bride, was ma tron of honor, and Loretta Costa, a nursing school class mate, was maid of honor. Pa tricia Galarte, sister of the benedict, was a bridesmaid, and Judy Duarte was junior bridesmaid. Patty Roark, the bride's niece, was flower girl and Bobbie Gularte, the benedict's brother, was ring bearer, Ed ward King performed best man dulies. Ushers were George and Russel Bolieyilch.
