The funeral of Mrs. Ivory Clarke \the wife of Mr. W. L. Clark of 707 Church St. of this City who passed on Nov. 10 at her sisters home in Nouxora, Ark. at the age of 46 ,was held Nov. 10, at the Greater St. Peters M. B. Church, Rev. L. L. Laws officiating with Rev. Adam Newsom giving brief remarks. She served as a faithful member of this church for 14 years, she had been ill for 2 years and she will be missed by her fellow members and friends. She was a member of the United Order of Friendship and a member of the perions of Jerico. She leaves to mourn her passing a s husband, Mr. W. L. Clark, one jaister, Mrs. Ophelia Powell of Nux ora, Ark., four brothers, Mr. Walter Gilmore of Wilson, Ark., Mr. Cleve land Gilmore of Dublin, Miss., Mr. Robert Gilmore of Detroit, Mich., and Eddie Lee Gilmore of Chicago, I Kl, and a host of relatives and friends. The Royal Funeral Home was in charge. Among those who attended the funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Diggens of this city Sunday, Nov. 16, were; Mrs. Rosie Bradley, Mrs. Lula Glasley, Mr. L. V. Rogers, Mrs. Ruby Adams, Mr. D. L. Fulton, Mrs. Martha Doovall, Mrs. Pearl Sanders and Mrs. Panola Boone. She was a member of the Educa tional Convention and was a star member of the St. Paul M. B. Church for a number of years Greenville. Rev. M. M. Morris, of ficiated. Among those on the sick list are: Mr. Will Bibbs, Mrs. Mandy Til mars and Mr. Isom Essom. Those who attended the funeral of Mr. Mat Allen at Beulah, Miss., from this city Were: The Clark family, the Chew family, The Powell family, Mrs. Annie Jenkins and Mr. Gus Gill and family.
