SCANDIA StHCORCHESTRA PLAYS FIRSTTO, ARMISTICE AUDIENCE H-r— ’Under the direction of Miss Furrythe orchestra made its first appearance at the Armistice Day program. They played Junior *March and Cleopatra Gavotte. At the Parent .Teachers Association meeting Tuesday, November 17, they appeared for the second time.They have purchased several new pieces of music.... The first violins of which Ruth McGregor is concert mistress include the following, Ada Isaacson, Evelyn Brown, Mildred Johnson, and Bobby June Shotzman. The second violins of which Valjean Jackson is concert master are Nina Hawkins, Irene Gritten, Norma Jean Richards, Darrel Berry, Jean Goodwin, Maxine Perry, and Ilene Freeby. The pianist is Frances Cooper, and the assistant pianist is Eldred Bowman. The first trumpets are Lenora Isaacson and Paul Albro; the seconds are Marnard Johnson and Wallace Bowman. Eldon Larson is playing the clarinet. The drums are bass, Le-Roy Nelson; snare, Adolphus Nelson and Jean Clark. Herbert Johnson is playing the trombone; Verlee Reece, the saxaphonef Bobby White, the alto horn; and Leo Johnson, the tuba.A
