FIND SLAIN WOMAN AT 115th STREETThe dead body of a woman, probably 50 years old, was found lying face-downward on the south bank of 115th street, about one block west of Cicero avenue, shortly before midnight Tuesday by Arthur Gebert, oil station attendant enroute homeward. Just what caused the woman’s demise will lie determined by an autopsy Wednesday at the County Morgue. The face showed evidences of being badly battered and a black rubberized trench coat had been pulled up partially over the head, indicating a struggle.The woman, weighed about 180 |Kunds, was about 5 foot 7 inches tall, had dark brown hair, streaked with gray. Her clothes were inexpensive hut neat, a bluish silk dress, with yellow figures, rayon hose, tan colored with slippers to match, one slipper being missing. Along side of the form was a blue silk parasol. The one slipper present wus not wet on the sole, neither were the clothes or the parasol. The body was still warm when it was noticed by Gebert, according to his testimony. On orders of the coroner, Undertaker Fred Wendt of Oak Lawn removed the remains to the County Morgue.Early Wednesday morning Police Sergeant Charles Reynolds ol‘ the coroner’s office found a purse at the scene. The purse contained two letters, which apparently established the woman’s identity and supplied a motive for her murder.I The letters were directed to Mrs. Louise Sulk, one addressed to 2011 W est Adams street and the other to 1728 Wilmot avenue.The first letter, written by the woman’s son, Carl Sulk, 1127 Pine street, Green Hay, Wis., upbraided her for her persistent demands for money and for giving the money to “boy friends so they can play big shots.” It was dated last Friday.
