Burial will take place at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Remsen Cemetery in Remsen. There will be fifteen minutes of visitation at the cemetery prior to the interment. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. today (Monday) at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars, with the family present from 5:30 to 8 p.m.Margaret A. HenrichMargaret A. Henrich, 88, of Akron, died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2001, at the Akron Convalescent Care Center in Akron.Margaret Annetta Blum was bom Aug. 22, 1913, at Elk Point, S.D., the daughter of Peter J. and Hannah (Lund Bredall) Blum, She grew up in the Akron area and graduated from Akron High School in 1931. She attended Normal Teacher Training in Red Oak, and received her teaching certificate. Margaret taught for two years at the Port School in the Westfield Township School District in Plymouth County.On Aug. 22, 1933,Margaret was united in marriage with Leo Paul Henrich at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Akron. The couple made their home on a farm five miles east of Akron. Mr. Henrich died Nov. 19, 1995. Margaret became a resident of the Akron Care Center in November 1995.Margaret was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America.Survivors include three daughters, PatriciaDennison and her husband, James, of Akron, Barbara Kross, and her husband, Burton, of Ft. Collins, Colo., and Sandra Lloyd and her husband, Kenneth, of Iowa City; a son, Dr. Dennis Henrich and his wife, Barbara, of Le Mars; nine grandchildren, Lorrie St. Onge, Steve and MatthewDennison, Lisa Stehle,Mark, Katie and Julie Kross,Noelle Henrich and Kristina.Lloyd; five great-grandchildren, Alexis and Eric St. Onge, Lindsay and EmmaStehle and Amanda Kross; and a sister, Catherine Miller of San Marcos, Calif.She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Hannah Blum; a grandson,David Dennison; brothers, 1 Edwin and Emery Blum; 1 and a sister, Arlene Petty. 1Mass of Christian Burial lt;will be at 10:30 a.m. i*Wednesday at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Akron, 1 with Monsignor Richard 1 Zenk officiating. PickSIOUX CITY - JosephGregor Pick, 60, of Sioux City, died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2001, at his residence in Sioux City following a lengthy illness.Mr. Pick was bom Dec. 10, 1940, in rural Remsen, the son of Alphonse and Erma (Thiel) Pick. He graduated from Union Consolidted School and served in the U.S. Air Force from June 1959 to June 1963. He worked at Wilson Trailer Company from August 1963 through Feburary 1969, He then worked for Siouxland Trailer Sales (Fruhauf), retiring in October 1998 due to ill health.On Dec. 28, 1963, he married Janet Anne Tennis in Sioux City.Survivors include his wife, Janet; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Mary Pick of Sioux city and Joel and Holly Pick of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Greg Podkovich of Omaha, Neb.; four grandchildren, Alicia and Alex Pick and Marissa and Natasha Podkovich; brothers and sis-ters-in-law, Daniel and Carol Jean Pick of Remsen and Clifford and Nancy Pick ofLe Mars; sisters and broth-ers-in-law, Ruth.
