Maack, Grover H.DELAVAN/LARGO, FL—Grover H. Maack, age 83, a long time former Delavan resident, died Nov. 8, 1989 in Largo. FL. He was bom Dec. 19, 1905 in Malcom, 1A, the son of Henry and Matilda i Baltisber-ger) Maack. He married Ethel Slifer Jan. 1937 in Rockford, IL; she preceded him in death Mar 1977. He was the retired owner/operator of Grover Maack and Sons Construction Co. He was a member of Delavan United Methodist Church, former member and chief of Delavan Township Fire Department, Delavan Lions Club, Member of ElksLodge, Largo, FL.He is survived by 3 sons: Donald R. Maack of San Diego, CA,, William D. Maack of Delavan Lake, and Gordon A. Maack of Hawaii; 2 granddaughters; 1 sister. Gladis Fitzpatrick of Ely, NV. He was preceded in death by 1 grandson, Christopher.Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Sat., Nov. 25, at the BETZER FUNERAL HOME, with Rev. Elliot Bush officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Lawn Memory Gardens There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to University Wisconsin Cancer Clinic.
