He accompanied by Mr. Alonso - broke the overturned car open, which was on fire, assisted in rescuing the unfortunates and thereby saved their lives. Wonder if the state officials w i I 1 arrest Charlie France for this act of charity and human protection.Dr. J. M. Whittico. of Williamson. happening to he at Welch with a number of friends, having come to Welch because of the football game between-Wilberforee and Bluofield State Teachers boys, was called who cam quickly to the scene where he rendered all tie* assistance possible and gave orders what to be done with the patients.liI
