Mobilian. : Fire err Civil War Vous. * Funeral services for Jeremiah Donivan, 83, Confederate naval vet eran and last survivor of the men who built the Hunley, the first suc cessful submarine, constructed at Mobile, for the Confederate navy, and last in Chelston bay, will be held at 8:30 o’clock tomorrow morning from his home, northeast Augusta and Hamilton streets. At 9 o'clock a mass will be celebrated at St. Vin cent's Catholic church where he had worshipped since a child. Burial will be in Magnolia cemetery. Mr. Dont van died at 1:40 o'clock yesterday morning. Mr. Donivan was a native and life time resident of Mobile and was a ship carpenter and builder. He as sisted in building the first submarine and also served in the Confederate navy. He resided in the house where he died for over 60 years. He is survived by a daughter, Miss Lorena Donivan; a son, Leo Donivan; four grandchildren, Leo Donivan, Jr., Pearl, Elizabeth and Mary Frances Donivan and other relatives. Deceased was a member of Forest Camp, Woodmen of the World and Raphael Semmes Camp, United Con federate Veterans.
