Whitehurst. The motion was filed by Hatcher Zurnwalt and Judge C. F. Greenwood as attorneys for J. E. Payne, intervenor in the case of L. Blankenship and others against the Little Motor Kar Company.The motion requested that Master in Chancery J. U Goggans be instrut: led to allow no claims against the Company, and it is alleged thatnumerous claims are pending. Ihe claims include one of $18,829.66 by the Hooter Radiator Company, the motion alleges. The auditor appointed by Everett S. Owens, receiver appointed by the court, has ceased to work, the motion states. Claims already recognized have been paid out, it is charged, without, knowledge of the financial condition of the Company, and stockholders have to suffer loss.—Dallas Morning News.The above proves conclusively that our fellow townsmen, Dr. J. E. Payne and C. M. Word, have been ever onthe job since taking hold of the affairs of the company as trustees. These men have worked hard in the interest of the Company and it is a success it will be due in a great measure to their efforts.
