Alexander Orlea of South Third street last night won the ten-acre Michigan farm tract, given away by the Swigart Land company of Chi cago. Forty-nine other prizes were also given away: Forty $10 credits, four $25 credits, one $50 credit, two $75 credits and two $125 credits. Quite a large crowd attended the demonstration, given by the land company, at the K. of P. hall. A talk on “The Swigart Tract of Western Michigan”? was given by J. E. Gib son, of Chicago, and was illustrated by stereopticon slides of scenes in that district.
