The county bar association and the business men’s association met nnd decided to attend 7)oth funerals in a body.Who Dead Sheriff Was.Win. Edgar Robinson, the dead sheriff, was born in Howard county. \fn Sentember 12 1873. He isthe son of Jas. and Anna Robinson, his mother being still alive and be-siding at Glasgow', Mo. He came to Okmulgee county nine years ago, and pu Teased a livery stable at Beggs. Last September he was elected sheriff of Okmulgee countyand 'took his seat one year ago today. He is survived by a widowand two children, Lena Fay, aged•, and Columbus Claudia, aged 3. Ho was a member in good standing of the Masonic fraternity, I. O. O. F., K. of P. and Modern Woodmen, which organizations will participate in his funeral. He had made one of the best officers in the state of Oklahoma, and was known for his bravery. He wtffc at the Henryetta lynching last Christinas and succeeded in getting one colored man away from the mob. lie also took part, in quieting a number of Snake gatherings at Old Hickory ground.Decker from Texas.D *ckcr was born in Katum, Rush county. Texas, 3 5 yours ago. His father is a wealthy farmer in that* city. He came to Oklahoma several years ago. and was just heard of in Tulsa six months ago. when he tried to shoot up the town. He went from there to Teeumseh, where he married Emaline Williams and then went to Okmulgee, six weeks ago. He took up living withDave Wallace, and accepted a position as gunsmith at the Beyton store. He was a crack shot, and on numerous occasions amused the people at the local gallery by shooting at targets while looking through a mirror at the hack of his head. Wallace is Arrested.Dave Wallace, with whom Decker made his home, was arrested at lb o’clock this morning, and is now lodged at. the county jail. A fewminutes later Jim Grayson was alsoarrested, and he is also confined in the jail. Wallace made a statement in which he said that Decker had gone to Muskogee early Sundaymorning, and returned on the 3:30 train partially intoxicated. After getting into 'the fight with Grayson he went to the station after Decker, and was driven away.Kin bop a Virginian.Henry Klaber was born in Virginia 35 years ago, and came to Oklahoma 12 years ago. Prior ’to accepting a position on the police force, he was baggagemaster at the Frisco station. He is survived by a widow and. four children.Negroes Commanded. Resolutions were also adopted commending the colored people forthe efforts made by them in assisting the officers, and the death of the Chapman brothers was regretted in the same resolution, as thai*in which praise was bestowed uptfh the ‘two officers.The two negroes will be buried from the York undertaking estfb-lishmenl tomorrow afternoon.It was known that Decker had considerable money on his person yesterday, and this morning the remains were searched in an effort *to locate the money, but none wasfound.
