William H. Bullock, Jr., a staunch cityhood proponent and a mobile home parks leader, has taken out nomination papers for the Yucaipa City Council. The 43-year-old owner of Knoll wood Park, 12941 Second street, is the eighth person to enter the council race. Five council posts will be filled in the January 24 incorporation election. Defeat of the cityhood mea sure, of course, would nullify the council election. Bullock, a resident of Yucaipa for nine years, is acting secre tary for the Yucaipa Incorpora tion Committee, the group that has spearheaded the cityhood campaign. He is also secretary of Unit Six of the Western Mo bile Home association and is a member of the Knights of Co lumbus. He served as a Navy aerial photographer during World War II and the Korean War. Bullock and his wife, Rol lande, moved to Yucaipa from San Gabriel where he was a plumbing contractor. During his first six years in Yucaipa, Bul lock was a general contractor and subdivider. Mr. and Mrs. Bullock have two children, a daughter, Sandy, 19, who attends Pasa dena City College, and a son, Stanley, 24, a student at Ameri can University in Washington, D.C. Nomination papers are still be ing circulated by William H. Lockett, George H. Starr, and Howard 0. Simcox. Four council nominees, Mrs. Patricia Hudec, Ray Axman, Mrs. Addie Clarizio and Frederic Kilduff, have completed the fil ing procedure and are officially qualified as candidates. The deadline for submitting nomination forms is noon on De cember 1.
