In the shocking: editorial of 10 November ’61 the Racquette9launched the first wave of what in ail probability will be an endless seige on the already downgraded Clarkson student. With -blithe irresponsibility they cut deeply into the scarred ■reputations of those who are so often unjustly accused of un-gentlemanly conduct. What is so ungentlemanly about a Clarkson student expecting a girl to jump at his beckoned call. After all, it’s perfectly acceptable for them to jump at the beckoned call of the sororities they so fervently rush. It should, at this late date in the evolution of mankind, seem perfectly obvious that the human male is far superior in intelligence, physical prowess, creativeness, ingenuity, self-control, and “limboing.” ’With all due respect to female readers, why argue with the truth?Although the “Racquette” grants us in this editorial thatPotsdam State females act like high school “children,” her\plea that they assume their proper role as mature women is utter folly since you can’t “draw water from stone.” Instead it is far wiser for each and every Potsdam State girl to accept her station in life and become a (better) high school student. With this done, the State girl will be released from the frustration of trying* to be something she is not.In conclusion let us say that when and if the “CATERING SERVICE” goes out of business, the Clarkson male will have little trouble getting “CARE” packages from home.
