Friends throughout the commun ity learned with regret of the pas sing of Mr. Thomas A. Keillor, who died at his home in MacGregor on Sunday, Nov. 14th, 1943. Thomas Alexander Keillor was born at Elma Township, Perth County, Ont., on April 1st, 1869. He came to Manitoba in 1890, and in 1895 he settled at Bagot, where he farmed successfully for twenty years. He was married to Miss Isabella Hay on November 10, 1897. In 1915, they retired from the farm and moved to Wortagea Prairie, five years later taking up a residence in MacGregor, where they have since resided. Mr. Keillor was a member of the United Church. He was a devoted husband, a friendly neighbor and , goad citizen. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sisters: Mrs. Jessie Glen’ nie, of London, Ont., Mrs. Margaret Nero, of Portage la Prairie, and], Mrs Annie Moore, of Toronto; also his nephew, Mr. Archie Nero, of Winnipeg. ‘The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon. A short service was held at the home, followed by a service in the MacGregor United Church, conducted by Rev. C. A. J. King in the presence of a large gathering of relatives and sym pathizing friends and neighbors. Floral tributes, silent tokens of love and sympathy, covered the casket. They included from: “The family: The Nero and the Edgar Families; George and family, Don and family, and Myrtle and family; Mitchell, Lil, and Aunt Barb.; Will, Ellen and Bill; Bess and Betty Hay: Marion and Harlem, Sid and Flor ence, Don and Mary, Elsie and Cecil; Helen and Harry, Dolly and Keith, Mrs. Arnold and John. ‘The pall-bearers were six neph ews: Messrs. W. M. Hay, Don Hay, Sid Hay, Ernie Edgar, H. Pogue and H. Dankesreiter The flower-bearers were: Ivan West, E. Longstreet, C. Mansfield, and Albert Perkins The remains were laid to rest in the Beaver cemetery.
