New Musical Organization Was Perfected Thursday Evening.What will he known in the future as the Monroe Military band was formally organized last Thursday when the following officers were chosen:President—Louis Rood.Secretary^-Joe R. Byers.Manager—L. A. Hodges.Director—Win. Goldberger.The director for the new organization is also director of the orchestra which bears his name. The band’s membership includes some of the members of the orchestra, so that while a number of the members of the band are beginners, it starts out with plenty of good talent. There are about twenty-five members, whose principal object is to pursue the study of music in its different branches.
