Mr. L., has discharged the duties of the office promptly and satisfactorily, and his resignation will be regretted by many of his warm personal friends. His successor, Mr. Buckner, is a Democrat well worthy of the position, and no doubt will make an efficient and valuable officer.—Bowling Green Democrat.
