IThe Mormon Temple which is being built at Salt Lake City, is one hundred and eighty-six feet long, by ninety-nine wide. The foundation is laid sixteen feet below the surfaceof the earth (and is built of solid masonry) and sixteen feet thick. A promenade of twenty feet wide is to be built the entire distance'! around the building, to be gained by a number , | of steps. The wall is to be ninety-six feet• m -| high, and the whole building covers an area of21,850 feet of ground:
