OBITUARY.Departed this life on Wednesday 18th, in the 52 year of his age Mr. DAVID DAVIES,a native of Wales, but for rainy years a resident of this town and district.Rurely is the pen of friendship employed todepict the virtues of an individual more meritorious, or who was habitually more influenced by elevated moral priciple. The deceased, was a man of modest unobtrusive character, yet to those favoured with his intimate friendship, it would be difficult to find one more estimable.As a husband, ho was tender and devoted; as a father, kind and affectionate; as a friend, faithful and uniform; as a Christian, his meekness chanty of feeling adorned his calling; strictly honest in all the transactions of life; mil 1 and amiable in his deportment; it is believed he died without an enemy:—his death has caused avoid in his family circle which will long be felt, and which cannot be supplied. A. FRIEND.
