The deceased, was a man of modest unobtrusive character, yet to those favoured with his intimate friendship, it would be difficult to find onemore estimable.As a husband, ho was tender and devoted; as a father, kind and affectionate; as a friend, faithful and uniform; as a Christian, his meekness *V. charity of feeling adorned his calling; strictly honest in all the transactions of life; m;l 1 and amiable in his deportme.it; it is believed he died without an enemy:—his death has caused avoid in his family circle which will long be felt, and which cannot he supplied.
