OJHTlAttV.Departed this life on Wednesday 18th, inthe 52 year of his ago Mr. DAVID DAVIES,a native of Wales, but for many years a resident of this town and district.Rarely is the pen of friendship employed to depict the virtues of an individual more meritorious, or who was habitually more influenced by elevated moral prieiple. The deceased, was a man of modest unobtrusive character, yet to those favoured with his intimate friendship, it would be difficult to find onemore estimable.As a husband, ho was tender and devoted; as a father, kind and affectionate; as a friend, faithful and uniform; as a Christian, his meekness *V. charity of feeling adorned his calling; strictly honest in all the transactions of life; m;l 1 and amiable in his deportme.it; it is believed he died without an enemy:—his death has caused avoid in his family circle which will long be felt, and which cannot he supplied.
