Former Simla Woman Passed AwayErmagene A. Thompson, daughter of Eugene Alford of Simla and Erma Alford of Colorado Springs, passed away Monday, November 7, in Colorado Springs, Ermagene lived in Simla and attended Simla School,She was born January 6, 1948 in Colorado Springs, She graduated from Wasson High School in 1966 and attended Arapahoe Community College, She was married June 1, 1972, She was a member of Unity Church.Ermagene is survived by her husband, Michael Thompson; a son, Ryan, and a daughter, Sabrina, all of Colorado Springs; her mother, Erma Alford of Colorado Springs; her father, Eugene Alford of Simla; two brothers, Harlan Alford of Colorado Springs and Ron Alford of Albuquerque, New Mexico; two nieces and three nephews.She was a professional astrologer and belonged to the American Federation of Astrologers and the Cosmo Biology Foundation.Funeral services were held Tuesday in Evergreen Funeral Home with the Rev. Andres Lucas officiating. Cremation was handled by the funeral home.
