Mr. and Mrs. Delbert J. Mer rill of Vischer Ferry Road have had as their guest for the past two weeks Mrs. Walter Merrill of Wallingford, Vt. Other guests of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill have been Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Al len of West Rutland, Vt., and their two daughters, Donna Jean and Denise. Mohawk Valley Grange, Grooms Corners, met yester day at 8 p.m., with George Buf foni, master, presiding. The Methodist Men of the Rexford Methodist Church will serve a pancake supper in the church hall Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. The supper will be pre pared by the WSCS of the Church and a bake sale will be sponsored by the Sunday school. The WSCS at its regular meet ing observed its 25th anniver sary. Mrs. Harold Magnussen, a former resident, now of Shel bourne, Vt., spoke on the history of the WSCS over the past 25 years. Refreshments following the meeting were served to the 26 women present from a table centered with a large anniver sary cake. Serving on the hospi tality committee were Mrs. Claude Chrisman, chairman; Miss Grace George, Mrs. Robert L. Mitchell, and Mrs. Herbert Hyde. It was reported that Mrs. Edna Bishop, a member of the group, has returned to her home on Aqueduct Road, following sur gery at St. Clare’s Hospital. At the Shenendehowa Primary PTA meeting held recently at the school Richard Ratta, presi dent, presented Mrs. Maurice Grenoble, program chairman, who announced that the program for today’s meeting will be held in the elementary library. Mrs. Shirley MacMillin, librarian, will explain the library program and Wilber Carpenter, principal, will answer questions from parents concerning the school. A state ment of policies and guiding principals will be read by Mr Ratta.
