Arlo Mesmgcr, manager of Beaver School Lunch, shows report to Veda DeMai and Iva Walker, lunch workers at the Belknap School,BEAVER COUNTY SCHOOL LUNCII RECOGNIZED AS MOST EFFICIENT IN UTAHResults of a recent survey made by the State School Lunch Department shows that students in Beaver County pay less for a school lunch than is paid in any other district in the state except Wayne.This cost when averaged between elementary and secondary schools amounts to 18,1 cents per meal. The state average is 22.7 cents. The same survev shows that Beaver District spends an average of 33.6 cents per lunch for food (includes U S D A donated food), which is the highestamount spent per meal on food in the state.
