SEGUIN, Nov. 16—Coach Fritz Lehnhoff’s T. L. C. Bulldogs, who sropped a 14-13 homecoming thrill er last week to the Southeastern State College Savages of Durant, Okla., will face more tough oppo sition Saturday night, when they play the University of Corpus Christi Tarpons at Corpus Christi. The game, scheduled to begin at 8 p. m.at Buccaneer Stadium, will be the season's final contest for the Bulldogs. Coach Wil Walls’ Tarpons, who have a record of four wins and five losses, were clipped 12-0 in their home game with the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks last week. But the coast city and boasts wins over Arkansas’ vachita College (24-0), Daniel Baker (27-0), East Texas State (14-7), and Austin Col e (14-0). exas Lutheran, in its first year of senior college competition, has a 3-3-1 record. The Bulldogs dropped their opener to East Texas Baptist, 20-0, and in their second he battled Daniel Baker to a 6-6 tie. Following a 19-0 win over the Randolph Field AFB Ramblers, the Bulldogs dropped a 25-7 game to the strong East Central State College Tigers of Ada, Okla. The Lutherans then bounced back by trouncing Nuevo Leon University of Monterrey, 65-0, and defeating the U. S. Naval Air Station Comets at Corpus Christi 13-0. In their homecoming tilt the Bulldogs rang up the first score of the game when Halfback Marvin Stephens went over from the five yard line early in the first quar ter. The Bulldogs missed their try for the extra point. The Savages, enjoying an advan tage in experience and weight, scored seven points midway in the second quarter, and after a score less third quarter battle added the final points early in the fourth quarter. The Bulldogs came back to make a close contest of the game by going down from their own 35 on a series of passes. Stephens went around right end for the marker, and Gene Greenshield added the extra point, making the final score 14-18. At least three T. L. C. regulars will not be in the line-up for Sat urday’s game because of injuries. They are Halfback Jesse Baker, End Bob Thiede and Tackle Wal lace Dube.
