Mr. BuHlvant and family,* _____JOHN DALLAS THOMSONThe funeral services for the late John Dallas Thomson were held on Wednesday afternoon, November 30, from Zion American Lutheran Church at Manyberries, Rev. A. P. Doerlng having’ charge. Messrs. Fred Mack, John Baierstad, Peter Holstein, John Bockman, Leo. Keller and Dick. Rasmussen acted as pallbearers. Interment was made in the Zion Church cemetery at Manyberries.John Dallas Thomson was born May 1, 1883, to Mr. and Mrs. James Thomson at Acreman, Scotland. He was baptized in infancy and received his early Christian training In the Presbyterian church. When a boy of five year^ his family emigrated to Canada, making tneir home in Iron Bridge, Ontario. In 1910 John Dallas came to the West and settled on a homestead near Manyberries. He was married to Olga Reppna^h Nov. 26, 1942. On Sunday, Nov. 7, 1943, he passed away suddenly following a heart attack.
