Age 41 years 2 months and 28 days.She was united in marriage with Elby Porbus December 28, 1896. To this union was born 4 children, James Freddie, \^iodeparted this life Oct, 17, 1918,*Floyd and Hallie Marie survive, together with husband, father, mother, 2 brothers, Will and •John Bail'd, 3 sisters, Lannie Wardell, Vida Arthington and Jane Clarke. One sister Ola Stewart having proceeded her in death.She united with the United Brethren Church at Nyes Chapel, under Jthe pastorship of Bro Etherton and until the hour of her departure lived a life fullyconsecrated to the services of her Savior.She was a kind, loving, and ihdulgent wife and mother, a sympathetic neighbor, always ready with the Christian spirit, to lighten life’s burden and to soothe the sorrows of all with whom she came to know.“A Precious one from us is gone,A voice we loved is stilled.A place is vacant in our home,Which never can be filled.God in His wisdom has recalled The boon His love has given.And tho* the body slumbers here,_ The soul is safe in Heaven.”The f tfnferal sermon was de-*livered by her pastor, Rev. II. D.Hudson at Nyes Chapel, interment in Nyes Cemetery, near by. A large congregation attendedthe services. Music was furnished by the quire of the M. E. Church at Parmersburg. Evangelist May assisted in the services.
