Bike Run Down By CarJohn Sims, riding a bicycle, was run-down Friday evenirg about 6:45 in front of the Stim-son barber shop by Car) Gsakson who was driving a Ford car. Esakson was driving east or Franklin Street and John Gallup, flagman at Main street, was at his place to flag for the west bound passenger train. Esakson drove on the left side of the traffic post and kept to the left curb along the north side of the square. Sims sought to go to the right but the car struck the bike and threw Sims, slightly injuring his right arm. The bike was badly damaged. Night officer Baugh was near at hand and investigated the case. Esakson admitted he was at fault in driving on the wrong side of the street.
