Did not learn their names. I never saw so many land buyers as there are at present. BE. W. Graves is running his handle factory on fulltime, Geo. Wallis Co. are running the mill at Des Arc about half time. Keath ley Son are also mening han dies down at the old T. B. Low ae mill. They make a fine han da, I passed White Hummel's hub factory at Lesterville last week. They are making black oak hubs. I never saw a white oak log on the yard. I was also at Lee's hub fac tory at Centreville and saw some fine white oak logo on the yard. Jas. B. Huter and family arrived from North Dakota last week to visit Mrs. Hater’s parents, James Lovelace and wife, Mrs. Dr. Banke from Piedmont is visiting Mrs. John Lovelace. Miss Etta Keathley spent Sun day with Mrs. Flavia Polk at Ar cadia. A baby daughter arrived at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Kis tler last week. Also a new baby irl arrived at the home of John velace and wife. Hon. Wm. R. Edgar, also pros ecuting attorney Damion were in town last week. John Stevenson went to Taskee in the interest of his business there last week. Rev. Walker preached here Sun day evening at the M. IE. Church. He is a very interesting speaker, a good Christian man, and no doubt will do much good here the com ing year. His text was taken from Acts 27:25. Isaac.
