Tho Ireton Clipper contains the following in regard to Mrs. P. E. Burns, who died at that placo last Saturday morning and was buried at this place on last Sunday: :“Mrs. Elizabeth J. Devine was born at Fall River. Mass , Juno 22, 1852. t She was manicd to P. E. Burns at.LaCrosse, Wis , Fob. 4, 18G8. In 1884•they removed to LcMars, Iowa, and in 1887 located in this placo. Aeido from her husband four children survive her, Maytne, Kate and John, of this placo, and Mrs. J. J. Hickey, of LeMars. The deceased was a kind and affectionate wife, a loving mother and was esteemed by all who had the pleasure of her acquaintance. She was a consistent member of the Catholic church and died triumphantly in the faith. Her loss to the home und community will be deeply felt and the surviving members of her family receive the heartfelt sympathy of a host of friends in this their sad bereavement.”
