EXPORT. Westmoreland County (AP) — Posters seek ing to recruit members to a Ku Klux Klan group have been showing up on utility poles and at some businesses in western Pennsylvania. KDKA-TV reports find ing the posters in Export and Murrysville in Westmoreland County. The neighboring com munities are about 15 miles east of Pittsburgh. A reporter from the sta tion called a telephone number listed on the flier and says he heard this message: “Welcome to the Rebel Brigade — Penn sylvania Round Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. If you are inter ested in joining, please leave your name and number.” The station says the phone number appeared to be from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area in northeastern Pennsylvania and that nobody returned a message for comment. Another Klan group recruited members and held activities in the same general area in 1997.
