William SmrckaTIMKEN — William (Bill) Smrcka, 79, of Timken, died Thursday at Central Kansas Medical Center. Born Nov. 27, 1894, at Timken, he married Katie Kraisinger. He was a retired farmer and lifetime resident here.He was a member of the ZCBJ Lodge.Survivors are the widow; sons: Glen, Plainville; Willard, Timken, Ervin, Minnesota; sisters: Mrs. Blanche Hoiopirek and Mrs. Anna Hoiopirek, Timken; Mrs. Fannie Petnk, La Crosse; Mrs. Mary Strong, Rush Center; seven grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren.Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Janousek Funeral Home, La Crosse, Rev. James Gall officiating. Burial will be in Timken Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
