Legal No*iceSECTION NO. 1ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDSSealed proposals will be received by the City of Arlington, Texas, at the office of the City Manager until 10:00 A.M. on November 28, 1961 -for the construction of a 4000*. x 100* PAVED RUNWAY, 100’ x 200* PAVED APRON, AND STUB TAXIWAY FOR THE ARLINGTON MUNICIPAL AIRPORT, as listed in the Special Project Specifications, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud.Any bid received after closing time will be returned un- a opened.Copies of plans, specifications and other proposed Contract Documents are on file in the office of the City Engineer at Arlington, Texas, and are open for public inspection.Plans and specifications may be examined without charge In the office of the City Engineer and may be secured from the City Engineer upon a deposit of $ 15.00 as a guarantee of the safe return of the plans and specifications, The full amount of this deposit will be returned to each bidder immediately upon the return of the plans „ and specifications in good condition.
